MASTER CLASSES:

1. Single day classes with a specific theme.

More properly described as a lecture, or a lecture / recital dealing with a specific theme. Active participation (playing by participants) is encouraged.  Suggested themes:  Piazzolla, Chopin in Mallorca, Roots, Beethoven Sonatas, The Romantic era, The Piano (see below), etc.

2. 3-10 days duration: Depending on number of participants. Can be wholly or partially thematic.

This format allow the participants time to absorb, digest, practice and return for a following session. This is particularly true when dealing with   young pianists who seek pragmatic advice, and allows the artist and student the security of avoiding missunderstandings or missinterpretations of the advice offered.
Participants can choose the repertoire they are most interested in or having sessions which are  dedicated to a particular composer or period.  Attention shall be concentrated on the piano (Mechanical Functions, Technique, Practicing, Pedalling, Fingering), Analysis and its application, Style, Phrasing, Accoustics, etc.
